Generations X and Y may have grown up with a computer in the house and the Internet at their fingertips, but they're still reachable by direct mail.
In fact, they're just as likely to respond to direct mail as their baby boomer parents, says new research from the U.S. Postal Service.
Ninety-eight percent of generation X and Y collect their mail daily and nearly 70% say they've responded to offers received via snail mail.
The key difference between these two generations and their baby boomer parents: They're much more willing to respond online, which can lower costs.
